The fee structure

- Paid when the contract goes unconditional. Nothing more is owed at settlement.

- of the purchase price, GST inclusive, in place of the standard fee
The engagement deposit forms part of the applicable service fee. Final scope, fees and terms are set out in the client service agreement.

Questions about the fee

Is the engagement deposit refundable?
The deposit engages us and forms part of the full fee. How it is treated if the engagement ends early is set out in the client service agreement you receive before paying it.
Does the fee change with the purchase price?
For investors and for Perth homes up to $1.4M the fee is fixed at $16,500 GST inclusive. For a Perth home above $1.4M the fee is 1.5% of the purchase price, GST inclusive.
What if you cannot find the right property?
We do not present a property that does not fit the brief. The two stages after the deposit are only paid once a contract is exchanged on a property you have chosen, and then when it goes unconditional.
Who do you act for?
You. Best Invest represents the buyer, not the seller, on every purchase. The fee structure above is the whole arrangement, and it is confirmed in writing before you engage.
